My Review:
Kresley Cole does it again! I just absolutely love this series and it only gets better and better. This woman knows how to write a story and characters you’ll fall in love with!
First of all, let me say, that the front cover of this book looks absolutely nothing like Cade is described so that’s disappointing. I really hate that when books do that because I use that as my base to let my imagination run wild. I mean, for one, he’s described as blond on several occasions, and he has horns, which are clearly not present on the cover. Oh well, not THAT big of a deal, just a pet peeve.
Aside from that, I loved everything about this book. Although Cade does betray Holly, I can’t help but empathize with his situation. I mean, 900 years is a long time to feel guilty about something. But, without going into details, he still is so loveable and sweet and crazy sexy. He has that cocky kind of cuteness to him and I loved it.
Holly, I honestly didn’t really like in the beginning of the book. She was very uptight and that made her kind of annoying. But she loosens up throughout the book and I grow to like her more towards the end.
Overall, another great story with a great hero, heroine, love story, sex scenes, action, and all the good stuff that keeps me coming back! I gotta say that this is one of my favorite series, and I’m always quick to jump on the next one, slicing through it quicker than a lot of other books. I can’t wait to read the next one!
P.S. I just love Nix. I really hope she gets a story in here one day. Although I can’t help but wonder what kind of man would be good for her nuttiness.
