My Review:
Another excellent novel in the Twilight series and I was nothing short but still amazed. These are the only books that I’ve yet to be able to finish in one day without putting down. The entire series is amazing and Eclipse is no exception.
Eclipse gets into the changes that are approaching Bella and the dangers that still lurk around the corner for her still being human. She struggles with her ultimate choice to marry Edward and have him change her.
Jacob seems to play a big role in that struggle as she realizes that she has fallen in love with him too. Personally, I don’t like Jacob. I know that he is a good friend to her and helps a lot, but always with an ulterior motive. How could one possibly have difficulty choosing between Edward who is perfect in every way – completely selfless, protective, beautiful, and most of all loving – and Jacob who is immature, selfish, and despite the fact that Bella continues to push him away he still forces himself upon her. I personally don’t get the appeal there but of course it adds to the drama. It also gives me much more respect for Edward in how he handles the situation as well.
Overall the book is incredible. I couldn’t put it down and I’m running out to get the next one to finish up the series. I’m kind of even sad that I only have one more book in the series because I’m enjoying them so much. I truly hope that Midnight Sun ends up being finished and published so I have another one in the series to look forward to.
