In New Moon, Stephenie Meyer delivers another irresistible combination of romance and suspense with a supernatural spin. Passionate, riveting, and full of surprising twists and turns, this vampire love saga is well on its way to literary immortality.

My Review:

I read this book after reading Twilight in just one day and utterly amazed at how enthralled I became with it and in love with the characters. I had to continue into the series to find out more about their forbidden and beautiful love.

When Edward left Bella I was in tears. Although I knew there were two more books to come and therefore they had to end up together, I literally felt the agony that Bella felt as he walked away at the edge of the forest. I felt the depression and pain as the book went on without Edward and the rest of the Cullens. I desperately wanted them back and as good of a friend that Jacob was to Bella, I hated him for giving her feelings of settling for him instead of the perfect Edward. I would wait for him an eternity. :)

Anyways, the end of the book was my favorite and the moments where she heard his caring and protective voice in her mind. It was so refreshing to have him back. I love the new twist the story took adding werewolves to the plot and the entire book kept me just as intrigued as the first Twilight and “thirsting” for more (no pun intended).

I will be reading the rest of the series with anticipation of what will come next in their relationship. Excellent book, amazing series. My favorites.
