Georgina Kincaid has been a bad, bad succubus……which should be a good thing. But lately, thanks to her foul mood over breaking up with bestselling writer Seth Mortensen, she’s been so wicked that Seattle’s über-demon Jerome, decides to “outsource” Georgina to a rival—and have her spy for him in the process.Being exiled to the frozen north—okay, Vancouver—and leaving Seth in the cozy clutches of his new girlfriend is unpleasant enough. Then Jerome is kidnapped, and all immortals under his control mysteriously lose their powers. One bright spot: with her life-sucking ability gone, there’s nothing to keep Georgina from getting down and dirty with Seth—nothing apart from his girlfriend that is. Now, as the supernatural population starts turning on itself, a newly mortal Georgina must rescue her boss and figure out who’s been playing them—or all hell will break loose…
My Review:

I really really liked this installment of Georgina Kincaid. A lot of things left hanging were addressed in this one, I didn’t once figure out the mystery going on, and just overall it seemed like the strongest book in the series so far.

The whole Seth thing is tough. I like Seth, but I also still feel like him and Georgie just aren’t meant to be. Their lives are too different. But I liked that we get some of them in this book because the last book left off being really, really, depressing, and while things certainly aren’t perfect still, they’re better in my opinion and I think both of their characters grew and learned about themselves and each other in this book.

The story in this one was probably my favorite because I really did not see the ending coming at all, not by a long shot. So it was fun to try and piece together the mystery but still be wrong about my own theories and such.

I did like the ending of this one in regards to her new roommate. Despite the history between them I actually like this particular person and I really hope we get a lot more of them in the next books. I know, vague much? But I wanted to say that without spoiling anything! haha

Overall, great book. I listened to this as audio and I’m really liking these audiobooks so I’ll probably finish out the series listening to them. I really can’t wait to see what happens in the next book and so I might just jump right into it right now. :)
