Interview with YA Fantasy Author L. Danvers

Today, we’re featuring YA author L. Danvers. She’s the author of the Fate Abandoned series, the Vampires of Crescent Cape series, the Witches of Crescent Cape series, the Kryptos Chonicles series and the standalone novel Conspiracy Unleashed.

Q: You’ve written a good number of books. What genre(s) do you write in?
A: I write under the umbrella of YA fantasy. I’ve written space fantasy, epic fantasy, paranormal romance and have recently ventured into urban fantasy.

Q: Can you tell us about your books?
A: I write clean YA fantasy – meaning minimal (if any) cursing, no excessive gore and no explicit scenes. My stories are complicated, compelling and, yes, sometimes dark. But they’re also filled with themes of hope and redemption. In them, you’ll find a much-needed escape. One in which you can explore new worlds, fight the bad guys and fall in love all from the comfort of a cozy chair.

Q: What do you feel your strengths are as a storyteller?
A: I pride myself in writing characters that feel real and that readers can relate to and root for.

Q: What inspired your latest story?
A: My latest book is Secret and Spells, the first book in the Witches of Crescent Cape series. It’s actually a spinoff of my Vampires of Crescent Cape series. The heroine’s best friend in that series, Grace, was such a strong character and had a bigger story just begging to be told!

Q: Where can readers learn more about you and your books?
A: You can visit my website at www.ldanvers.com or find me on Amazon or Facebook.
